The SEC has decided to go to a 10 game all SEC schedule. This morning I heard that LSU'S extra opponents will be Kentucky and Tennessee. I'll take that. Justice prevails as Florida gets Alabama and either Auburn or aTm. But I hate to see the shot at giving Texas's another ass whooping get cancelled
And we already have a power 5 opponent scheduled every year through 2030. If we want to gamble on current power 5 opponents who may not exactly be powerful, we could possibly reschedule in 2024, when we already have UCLA at home, or '29 and '30, when we do a home and home with Arizona St.
App State has no SEC games scheduled this year but other Sun Belt teams did. It will cost the conference a reported $11 million in lost revenue. App State lost a game at Wisconsin and about 1.25 million. Our game with Wake Forest has not been canceled yet as it is an in-state game.
Total horse pellets . A case could be made for Horns to come to BR. That’s a lot closer than Tenn coming to BR. Of course last I heard Horns players are too busy right now renaming buildings and kneeling . Bottom line : season doesn’t make it to Halloween
what is unsaid is that they are keeping as much revenue within the conference as possible i think, not paying for rent a wins, etc.
LSU got 1.5 million for visiting Texas last year and we're supposed to pay Texas the same for the return visit.
