passed about 30 miles S of me. could hear rumbling, but nothing here really. some areas S of here got 1.5 in diameter hail.
maybe they dont want people in there with thunderstorms going on(even if not tornadic) simply cause the building has holes in it. i would think they would want to inspect the damage to see if it can hold up to more severe weather.
actually, they weren't letting people leave. Didn't want them out walking and driving when it came through. Somebody has to have video of this online.
Sucks for the winner of that game. Will they have to play two games tomorrow? Or will the semis and final play on Sunday, so both teams have a disadvantage?
nothing official yet. But due to the contract with SEC and CBS, the gametime of the final won't change (unless absolutely necessary) according to the acting SEC comissioner.
They are meeting now on what to do. Obviously both coaches dont want a double header but you have Selection Sunday and almost have to do it then for travel reasons. Plus, Phillips Arena has a concert tomorrow so i would assume they would play down the road at GT if they have to. But to me it seems as if a double header is inevitable.
two interesting stories. parking attendants caught in it held on to poles and went horizontal (methinks they a remembering "twister") a couple in their car were caught in it. the husband shielded his wife in the passenger side. no big deal til you see the inside of the car with a good bit of blood in it.
