    I struggle with answering and remembering security questions such as favorite movie, book, band, color, historical figure, etc.

    Do most people have one answer that immediately comes to mind for these questions?

    They try to find questions that hackers can't easily deduce from your Facebook page. But way too many people splatter their page with just this kind of information. Don't do that. But if they ask questions so vague that you can't remember it, try to pick another question, they usually give you a choice.

    To get into my bank account I have to tell them my first dogs name and the street I lived on in 1976.

    One site forces me to name my childhood hero. To say something like "dad', grandpa", or "john wayne" is a gift to a hacker. I never really had a notable childhood hero, I suppose. Security concerns would lead me to list antiheroes anyway. hackers know who the top 100 favorite american heroes are. So I'm always changing it to something I can remember but I never do. I've used Bullwinkle, Maverick, Capt. Kangaroo, Maxwell Smart, Cheyenne, Underdog, Sgt. Rock, Sgt. Bilko, Elliot Ness, McHale, Top Cat . . . and I can never remember.

    Just don't do a Joe.

    Name = Joe
    Childhood hero = Joe
    Favorite movie = Joe Wars
    Favorite band = Pink Joe
    Favorite color = Joe Pink
    Favorite historical Figure = General Joe
    First girlfriend = Josephine

    The system doesn't care what is in the box as long as something is in there. For instance, if it asks me "what is your favorite city" I will put in something like "purple" for the answer.

    I'm sure most of you have heard that your adult entertainer name should be your first pet's name (First name) and street you grew up on (Last name).

    Mine is Tuffy Bellevedere. One of my friends is Lance Longfellow.

    Longfellow St. that my friend lived on was right next to Wadsworth St. I think that developer must have known the joke 40 yrs ago.

    Aren't they all named Tiffany? So if you had a horse and you grew up on 137th St. it would be Secretariat 137th

    It doesn't work in all cases. This guy would likely be known as "the horse"
