No, try to get it right. I support hammering Qadaffi, he's a long-time enemy. It's on Obama's watch and he's doing the job. He's making the Euro's step up to the plate for once. And he's letting the friendly Libyans do the right thing and take back their own country. We're doing what we can with the airpower tools we have and it is entirely correct. Qadaffi guy is behind the bombing of US servicemen and the Lockerby bombing. We didn't start this, the Libyan people did. It is proper to support them with airpower. The Republicans calling for a halt are either kissing Qadaffi's smelly brown ass, or this is a pure political stunt, right of the Rush Limbaugh "Everything Obama does is wrong" talking points book. After a decade of advocating the crushing of America's enemies, now you are a Peacenik. THAT is the hypocrisy.
If you're going to do it don't half ass it. Go in with a pair of aircraft carriers and run round the clock beat down missions on his army until you vaporize all of them or don't do it at all.
I'm talking about the economy, Pearl. You can't seem to pin any of our current problems on the Kenyan. As for Qaddafi, kill that MFer. It doesn't take a political genius to figure that one out.
But it's all Bush's fault. Does anyone remember he had a democratic congress to deal with for the last two years of his term?
I see. You have Altzheimers and forgot you were on the Libya thread. What do Kenyans have to do with Libya anyway, Gramps?
Any does anybody remember why? Because a disgusted public tossed every Republican that they could. It took two more before they could toss Bush.
I never thought that I would see the day that Republicans would be against declaring war or killing Qadaffi. What next? Feeding the poor? Supporting the NSF? Wonders never cease...
I am against this just like I was against Iraq. Let the countries in Africa and the Middle East help Libya out, we have enough problems here.
