Well bamaman the peach bowl was a beautiful thing and thats what happens when superior athletes come together for the final game of the year after being embarrassed at the seccg. superior athletes with some fine defensive coaching was key.

Ha. Yea. So defensive coaching was the reason our defense played so well, yet "superior" athletes is why our offense played so well.

Also, Miami has recruited about as well over the past few years, so I don't know that our athletes were that much more superior.

Bama may have a decent season - but they won't be competing for the SEC West.

I agree. This game has huge implications for the SEC & I think it would normally be in everybody's best interest for it to be played in October. However, I understand that both teams are trying to bring some more normalcy to their schedules and that's the reasoning behind this.

Both teams lose a lot, so the timing of the game might not effect anything. But there's no way to know that know. It would really depend on which team grows & matures together the fastest/when each team hits their stride. This might end up biting either team in the a$$.

Who is talking about sanctions? We finished 10-2. Who predicted that? NOBODY.

That's what everyone said about this year and all the predictions before the Bama/LSU game were outrageous. We scared the hell out of LSU and nearly won. Granted we didn't, but we're not going to just fall off the map.
