1. Jefferson gets opportunity after opportunity to redeem himself and Lee never does. I am flabbergasted.

Jefferson couldn't possibly be any worse. Three straight games below 100 yards passing, 3 interceptions,ZERO touchdowns.

And we keep running him even though he is far from the best running back we have. He's going to get hurt . . . and Lee won't be ready because he gets no meaningful playing time.

We cannot get any better without a passing game and it should be obvious to anybody, including Miles and Crowton, that Jefferson is not The Man.
  2. Can we direct Miles to TigerFan.com plz....
  3. I'm with you, Red. The defense and special teams are winning these football games for the Offense. If the goal is to try to win the SEC West, then at some point Miles needs to make a change at QB. Jefferson is not going to beat Bama or Arkansas, IMO. Not unless the defense and special teams do it for him.

  4. On a side note.

Bama looked beatable on D, however, you need an O.

And to think that we can get into a shoot out with ARK? Plz

And UF just found Teebag #2...

Time to nutt up or shut up for this LSU O...
  5. How bout this guy at QB? I hear he is pretty good...especially since we seem to want to run our QB so much...[ame]http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKtxLSjmc64[/ame]
  6. My hope is that maybe Miles knows JJ needs to sit and watch for a while but that he does not want to give Bama any significant recent game film of Jarret Lee. If Miles waits, maybe we can catch Bama sleeping if they have prepped for Jefferson all along and Lee trots out on the field to start that game.

Jefferson appears like he thinks HE is the offense and he has that fantasy in his mind of being the savior. I need to watch the game again, but my feeling while watching it in the bar last night was that JJ appears kind of selfish in his play. When we ran the option he always kept the ball instead of dishing it off (maybe that is a very good thing, though), when receivers dropped the passes that were off-timed but perhaps close enough he had the "how could you do that to me" response, etc.

I have always maintained that Jefferson does not have "it" ( and have been called to the carpet for it here in seasons past)...but he does have the athletic attributes to get the job done. If he could just learn a few soft skills with his game (looking off to his secondary and tertiary receivers, pump faking, actually pitching out on the option, learning a more convincing fake handoff, etc) he'd be a hell of a lot more productive.
  7. Did you see is passes. Lazy, off target, leaving his wr's out to dry, he even runs slow and lazy, he often looks lost, then when a wr drops a pass he calls him out on the field.

I have been a HUGE JJ supporter, but enough is enough.

He threw 2 picks, one would have been a pick 6 had the smith not tripped on his own, and WVU dropped 2 more EASY ints.

J-Lee CANT be worse. At this point with this Defense, and This Running Game, we have the weapons at Receiver for a Gun Slinger at QB.

We need to be able to move the football thru the air.

JJ - Has had all last year and 4 games this year, He cant do it!

If J-Lee cant either than this season will be a heartbreaker!

SOOOOOO MUCH Talent on this team, going to waste!
  8. Lee hasn't played much in two years. Throwing him in versus Bama after we're down 3 touchdowns is insane. He needs to be an experienced confident quarterback. Les is giving him no experience and displays no confidence in him.

  9. I just got finished watching the game this morning bro, JJ played awful. I am not going to say he sucks or he is trash, but he is just not clicking.
  10. I agree, Red.

I was simply trying to provide an answer posed in the thread topic.
