It's drill team spring show season in Texas, so I'm busy making the rounds to all of these extravaganzas around town. My daughter's is this weekend, and then we get to move on to senior high school new drill team practices for next year.
There is no better time spent than with one's kids. Unless their like shane and Cajunlost. Can you imagine what taking them out in public must have been like?
It is really fun, and she still likes being around me, so that's an added bonus. She even had her first college tour on Good Friday. She's now thinking of becoming an University of North Texas Eagle--I think mainly because it's only 45 miles away from home. She still wants to look at Oklahoma State and Arkansas this summer, though.
