Without question football is a violent game and the players on the field expect a certain amount of pain. However, I'm sure Shawn Jordan could take whatever sensation occurred when the Onelane player hit him in the head according to what some of you saw more than one time. Its not about pain, its about respect. It takes alot of discipline not to respond in such a situation. If someone is "going off" on my head during a football game, even though I have a helmet on, I probably would do the same thing. I'm not so sure Miles had him running extra if its apparent on the tape what provoked him. Miles seams like a fair-minded person who would sit him down and explain how to handle the situation better. Its not like Jordan has a history of cheap shots.
Yeah, except the TOOLAME PLAYER TOOK ANOTHER SHOT AT HIM AFTER HIS 'BLOW.' I saw it on the replay last night. The Greenie swiped back at him after it happened. Couldn't figure out why he didn't get ejected, too.
If an ejection comes with a one game suspension could C-USA or the NCAA look at the tape and give the Greenie a one game who's your daddy sit down?
Hester and Jordan get major props from the Advocate today. Laboring in obscurity: LSU fullbacks Hester, Jordan key cogs in ground game I agree with Miles' comment. On the replay of the game, you can see that Hester made major blocks for Scott on two straight plays near the goal line for the TD.
Wew, if Shawn Jordan were to sit out a one game suspension, at least it is for the Miss St. game. We will need him for the Florida game. ________ Volcano Vaporizer
