I spend a lot of time here and gladly pay my money, unfortunately, there are too many who spend a lot of time here and freeload. When those same freeloaders constantly spam the forum with their inane, rabblerousing idiocy, it just compounds the aggravation. I seriously think we should consider petitioning Brett to make it mandatory to put up the $$ or go elsewhere. If you can't afford the $20, too bad. Sometimes life sucks.

downside is: what about opposing fans? I enjoy reading the scouting, other perspective, and the occasional bashing. You can't exepect a team's fan we play once a year to shell out $20 for the cause of the enemy.....just my thoughts...

I agree with you. You shouldn't have to spend every breath defending our team to these people. Especially, the ones that seem to get so much enjoyment out of being negative....about everything.

good idea, sort of like a trial thing. Or the smack board could be free but moderated to the point people aren't using it as a regular board...

I wish you were that way about your stupid opinions. Do you have access to the US Mail? Do you have a checking account? Don't try to make excuses. You are freeloading. Period.

Being a paying member has it's advantages but some people (students/people really scraping to get by) cant really fork out the $20. As for the "freeloaders", we know who they are and they should be ashamed that opposing fans such as Peabody, Deceks7, Hawker, Col Reb and I, etc. contribute to the cause while they "freeload".
