Should we begin a coordinate effort here via this site?

Seriously, folks...A lot of us out here are seeing the Alario backdoor boiler room payraises, the reprisals against Jay Dardenne, the pshawing of losing jobs and losing money and kids, the losing of Mark Emmert due to cutting his funding, and now the Riverboat Roulette Revival...

We can tell what's happening on the 4th Floor at the Capital downtown in Baton Rouge...

But, what are we going to do about it, other than point it out to each other? I am being totally honest and serious about this, guys...

Why don't we coordinate our efforts? Seriously start a dialogue with each of our collective representatives and Senators. Post what we keep in contact with them regarding on a daily, or weekly basis...

Even post the correspondence...Coordinating our efforts and keeping steady pressure-or at least a steady spotlight-on our local legislators could conceivably do a whole lot of good. The power of the internet, as well as a coordinated effort on our and our friends (via networking down from our relationship on this site to our friends) could really put a dent into the Legislative agenda and vision...

Anyone been rolling something around in their head like this?

Not really. I've mostly been thinking about sex, food, sex, LSU sports and sex.

I don't think polititians nor the public will take an anonymous forum seriously. We are all internet kooks hiding behind our keyboards, don't you know? We can make any ridiculous statement and can't be held accountable for it. It's why newspapers don't accept anonymous letters to the editor.

Writing your representatives and editorial pages of major newspapers over your name and address is the only valid way to get read.

However forums like this one are a good place to bounce ideas around and drop the weak arguments that get shot down easily before one writes such a letter.

Also breaking news breaks fast on the Internet and can get dissected here faster than the newpapers, keeping one ahead of the information curve.
