Should we now silently root for Auburn?

Two straight national champions from the SEC West would be a major statement for where the best football in America is being played. A 9-2 LSU with losses only to top-10 teams, one of whom is a potential national champion would boost LSU's chances of a major bowl game opportunity.

I don't care if their fans are a bunch of weenies who get their feelings hurt when you yell "Tiger Bait" at them. I don't care if The Tube is the cheesiest coach in the league. What I care about is not letting USC get a BCS championship. If it's an SEC team versus anybody for the NC, I pull for our league. Period.

Otherwise I'll pull for anybody but Southern California. Hopefully Oklahoma, who were fairly gracious opponents last year and left us Mr. Peabody.

The condemning picture, is of their anorexic looking tigger holding a huge cigar with the sign saying smokem if ya got em.
What they fail to realize is, that the students, cheerleaders and fans accepted this behavior, instead of recognizing it for the classless, low life act that it was.

Something tells me, had the roles been reversed, their cognitive skills would be way up. :thumb:

Yes we got the crystal trophy and Mr. Peabody, not a bad deal. However the only thing we ever got from AU is used cigar stubs, a trampled Tiger's eye and a trumbone player that looked like Mike Tyson for a week. JAM AU!!!!!!!. But like I said, should the thugs make it to the title game I will pull for them as hard as it may be to do.

Aw rickyd, I'm here lurking a lot. It's one of my favorite boards. Heck you guys talk more about Auburn here more than we do on my Auburn boards. Just look at the number of threads having to do with Auburn. Clearly Auburn is always on your mind. :hihi: :hihi:

Since it's one of your favorites, go ahead and boot up $12 to help keep it running. We got Sooners, Rebels...etc. and no Auburn fans contributing. Quit being a freeloader PT, ante up.

DUH..................... It's a well known fact that you're anywhere that LSU football is being discussed, the problem is you're not "lurking" you're talking.
Haven't you ever heard "Children should be seen not heard"?

Good for you. I love Louisiana teams as well. I have loyalty to the SEC first, however. I think the majority of LSU fans feel the same way.
