Should we reopen the book on Evolution?

    See, here's the problem. Creationism has no evidence. It only has faith which is nothing more than someone forming a point of view without evidence. Growing up, we call this a "fairy tale".

    I have no problem with people following creationism. It's when they try to pass it off as "science" that I have no patience for...

    I'm not like the official spokesman for creationism so there are probably much better arguments than I am making but I can't believe there haven't been some experiments or findings that support the creationist point of view. I mean, do you really think they are just saying, "no, that's wrong" without making any kind of case for themselves? Every side at least makes a case....

    That is exactly the problem with creationism. It is solely based on the errant belief that the Bible is to be interpreted literally and that Genesis is an actual accounting of precisely how creation went down.

    I think you're wrong on that one, I certainly don't believe in the Bible literally. The Catholic Church doesn't believe in the Bible literally. There is a lot of symbolism in the Bible.

    Didn't you say the same thing about global warming? We all have seen how that one has had the books cooked. As a Native American, I think that you speak with forked tongue as often as not.
