    Most people outside the state of Alabama recognize that Shula did a decent job. Most people outside the state of Alabama don't moonlight diggin up the bear. :shock:

    Yes, it is true. There have only been two coaches, former players, that I've lost all respect for.

    While Shula couldn't handle the HC job, he's a good person at heart.

    IF you are going to act like a jerk, go away. You are sad reflection on my school, our fan base, and our program.

    Yet, most people who are out of the state of Alabama are the ones continuing to bring him up. :lol:

    Sure, his shadow still looms large around the state, as it should. But, to explain why, outside of the football context, would be a delve into history...and after all, this is a football forum.
