Shula vs. Saban

Usually, something to do with farming... farmers, farmboys, stuff like that.
You can imagine how this upsets all our farmers.

 

I've a little experience with that...considering how many people talk about Auburn as being a "farm college/ cow college."

Heck, there was a guy that wrote an article about our A-day game talking about pick-up truck, tobacco chewing fans...."

I realize, it's all an attempt at humor. Feeble, if you ask me.

Can someone please enlighten me as to why we're called "corndogs" by opposing teams' fans? I've never gotten the story. It's not as self-explanatory as "Gumps".

Oh, and to stay on topic, I'll say that Bama goes 7-5 next year. It could easily be 8-4, and I also wouldn't rule out 6-6, depending on bad calls, luck, etc.

Think I've read where it originated with Nebraska and some AU fans musta been drunk or sumpin and brought it here.

 

I think we do smell like corndogs.

 

Whiskey + bourbon + beer + tequila + whatever else people drink on gameday + awesome food = corndog smell.
