Not doubting you, just wondering what makes you think they are a top 10 team?

I watched it but didnt pay a whole lot of attention to the details.

I can see that definitely top 3. Who will be bump out of #2 though? May take more than a week to move up cause they'd have to lose an early OOC game..........or USC lose to Idaho- in the Coliseum. :hihi: Can't see that happening.

If we lose to the Vandals at home, I'll be standing outside the Coliseum after the game randomly handing out $100 dollar bills.

I'd still rather start at 5 or 6 and move up during the season. aOSU survived the gauntlet last year but barely.

No, PSU is being over-looked. Their talent, is returning with a years worth of experience under their belts. Those that follow PS have expectation that are very high. Morelli looks to have the upside and could easily turn into another Troy Smith (in terms of talent, not gifts.)

    1. Georgia's running game has a new dimension in Knowshon Moreno. He is going to make a big difference in play action situations. Brandon Sutherland is back as well as Kregg Lumpkin and Thomas Brown.

    2. The DL is very solid. Kiante Tripp, Roderick Battle, Kade Weston, Geno Atkins and Ricardo Crawford are all studs. The LBs are the fastest group Georgia has ever put on a football field. Akeem Hebron is at 4.45. The secondary is now experienced and deep. Paul Oliver is back. Reshad Jones is likely to be the next All-American FS at Georgia.

    3. Georgia has one of the fastest groups of WRs in the country this year. Sean Bailey is back after a medical redshirt. (the kid that caught two TDs in the 2005 SEC CG) Mickey Henderson, Tony Wilson and A.J Bryant are all sub 4.4.

    4. Georgia picked up Kevin Butler's son this year to punt.

    5. Brandon Coutu is back to hit +50 yard FGs.

    6. Believe it or not, Searles has worked wonders with a questionable OL. Richt added two Juco linemen that also give Georgia some quality depth.

    7. Stafford has lost 20 lbs of baby fat and has had plenty of time to target and put much better touch on his passes. (no dropped balls during the Spring Game) Stafford now knows the offense well and has worked with the new OC on additional formations and much more motion in the offense.

Right now, I think Georgia has an excellent shot at winning the SEC East.
