Did you go through ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports and decide you're going with Rivals rankings this season? It's my view that this is another Nadeb Joseph story with Kirby...signing a kid that's very doubtful to qualify but it looks good in the rankings.
Of course, @shane0911 is putting some things out there that don't resemble the truth--but it's the Internet, let's believe it!!
Last year there was an Ohio State site that did a breakdown of the recruiting classes and all four (before Scout and 247 merged) sites that evaluate recruiting. The premise they used was 5 start to potential first rounders. As I recall, Rivals had 32 and ESPN and 247 had 30. In that scenario, there's little difference between the (now) three major sites. I want to say the site was eleven warriors...but don't hold me to that.
That’s good and all, but the star system is not meant to project draft status whatsoever. So that seems kind of pointless to me. It’s meant to project performance potential in college.
