My question, is what is the Billy Gonzales philosophy, and how closely does it resemble Urban Meyer's? That would greatly affect both his deployment of Jefferson/Lee/Shepard and JUCO QB Zack Metterberger's interest.

Or put Ensminger in the pressbox, he knows that gig. Gonzales can call plays from the sideline where he can affect who gets substituted or not. Let Crowton coach the quarterbacks and tight ends from the sideline.

Obviously you don't have xm radio. Leach is almost as bad as les behind a mic. I like the coach but I don't know if I can take 2 rainmen on our team...

    You think Crowton should stay?

We're not in agreement to the level of firing and who exactly should be fired is what I meant.

Simply firing Crowton won't change anything about how this team is prepared or managed during gameday with Les still roaming the sidelines.

Les and anybody on the offensive side of the ball should go (save the Running backs coach, possibly). I say just start from scratch.

Me too, but from everything I've learned about the way Miles does business over the last 5+ years, I'd consider it very unlikely.

I sincerely hope next week someone can point to this post and say "I told you so."

I want him for offense, not the debate team

Miles is a moron. Leach is a loose cannon.

One's a rainman, the other is a rainmaker.

Maybe so, but his offenses were pretty good. I say give him the keys to the offense, and take away the keys to the closets and he will be alright

Leach won't work here. LSU is going to completely give up on the power running game? I don't think so!
