All I am saying is that Arkansas has an easier schedule. I anticipate that Auburn will end up with a 5-3 conference record.

Arkansas should be able to beat Vandy, South Carolina, Ole Miss and Miss State, and win one out of the three games vs. Auburn, Tennessee and Alabama.

A late season conference matchup between a 6-1 LSU and a 5-2 Arkansas is very possible.

Arkansas does have an easier record, but I don't think it will be enough to sufficiently lighten a high school spread option coach's welcome into the SEC as an offensive coordinator.

Auburn plays their tough games at home and could be a pretty good team. I'm unsure how good they will turn out though. I think they are a little too overconfident after a successfull season despite losing their backfield, but I don't want to underestimate their coordinators.

Why do you think Auburn will lose 3 games?

I'm 1 for 1 on wagers on this board. 0-1 in actually getting the money. Care to make one an 8 win season?

Do you expect frosh and sophs to play like God's in their first years? Bc that's what our line was. Young. They only get better. You'll be singing a different tune during the season.

See you in BR...I'll be there. :thumb:

Auburn simply doesn't have the offensive muscle from last year.

And Auburn picks up a tougher conference schedule with Florida being added.

I won't say that Auburn won't be any good, but I will say that Auburn is going to have a very tough year.

Arkansas's chances this year remind me of this:

Regardless of a new HS OC, Arkansas has lived on the running game for several years now. They have two very promising tailbacks, an improved OL, and a decent defense. Nutt will not abandon his primary running game.

Now add a QB that doesn't have to make it happen through the air, but can mix it up just enough to give defenses a much more multi-dimentional look to try to figure out.

Arkansas drops Georgia from their schedule this year while Auburn picks up Florida.

To not take Arkansas seriously would be a big mistake.

The question is...is it Nutt's choice anymore?

Broyles is looking at his 83rd birthday this year.
Nutt may be the next in line for the AD position.

The new OC may be in a position to take over the HC job in a few years.

I forgot to mention that Arkansas has some decent receiver recruits that they have not had in the past.

I still think that Monk is one of the most talented recievers in the SEC too...
