He comes across as a jerk in his pregame show because he has 162 chances to spend an hour answering the same 4 questions: 1) Why can't Cox win the big one? 2) Isn't Chipper Jones the best player in baseball? 3) When do you think the bullpen will come around? 4) Why don't more fans come out to se the team? I spent some time in the ATL area back in 96 when the Braves were tangling with the Yanks. I heard my one and only Skip Caray pregame show. What a putz !! I actually thought Skip was a decent announcer before then. (all those losing seasons and he still was kinda interesting) Nothing but a grumpy condescending jerk who was stealing a paycheck by barking at callers to some lame pregame show.
