1. This sounds like the usual Parcells drivel. He drafted Skyler for a reason--and I think we all know he's a little undersized for NFL WR. He was drafted because the Cowboys need a returner--badly.
  2. I wouldn't expect to Skyler start as a WR in the NFL, just too short. But I could see him returning kicks and coming in for certain plays on offense.

The Ticket 1310 in Dallas has been at the Cowboy training camp and caught an interview with Skyler. The guys really liked him because he was really nice and genuine.
  3. my son and I sent to cowboys camp and they had skyler listed #10 ( jersey #).. when we got a closer look it looked like he had cut his hair...not sure if it was him after all... spears, James were larger than life...:geauxtige
  4. In The Dallas Morning News, they had some pictures of the rookies--who had been "re-styled" in the hair department by the veterans. Maybe that's why (heaven forbid) Skyler's hair was short. I hope it grows back fast; I love Skyler's hair.
  5. Skyler is #10 and he said on 1310 that he wanted #10 at LSU but Joe had it. #10 was his high school number he said.

1310 asked him about his hair color, but I believe it is still braided or whatever you call it. But he might have gotten it cut.

It's too bad that Spears hurt his knee and I believe he needs surgery. Parcells made a comment that Spears needed to be out there at practice. You know the typical Tuna comments.
  6. That's Parcells for ya, ripping every player that isn't out there...

    ...except for that one guy.
  7. Apparently there are signs of TO's bad attitude creeping into training camp.
I was listening to 1310 in Dallas and they were onsite and said that when the ball didn't come his direction or Bledsoe overthrew him, that he would unsnap his chin strip showing his frustration. There is talk that he is faking his slight hamstring injury and the MRI showed nothing. Of course I think a lot of top players fake mild injuries at times. If he is faking that is pathetic. He needs to learn the playbook and learn to play with Bledsoe so that those 2 can get in rhythm.

Sorry to turn to TO on this topic.

I hope Skyler has a good season at returning kicks.
  8. They were also talking about Skyler on The Ticket (1310) yesterday afternoon. It was all about the WR corp being weak, and that Skyler wouldn't help it. But they went on to say that he was brought in for returns almost strictly since the 'Boys were 25th in the NFL last year with six yards per return.
