Re: Skylar Green Needs the ball in his hands I disagree, Skyler doesn't have the hands Reed has and Reed ran the best routes. Skyler is obviously better after the catch, but to say he could be comparable to one of the best receivers in LSU's history is a bit of a stretch IMO.
Re: Skylar Green Needs the ball in his hands Sky will get his... They just didn't want to gameplan totally around him, in case he WASNT healthy, b/c then you have to totally change. As the year goes on, his role will increase
Re: Skylar Green Needs the ball in his hands wow it sure seemed as if ASU planned THEIR game around Mr. Green... Anyone else notice this?
Re: Skylar Green Needs the ball in his hands When Bowe and Davis are on the field with Skyler we'll se Skyler get the ball in space more often I Believe, especially with JR doing such a fine job with his passing. I agree that Early came up big on that last drive, the catch over the middle was a very good one. I'm dying to see him get the ball in space as well.
Re: Skylar Green Needs the ball in his hands the post is about Skylar. Doucet has a "bit" to go before he looks as good as Skylar. HS is great Div 1A FB is another matter. I'm sure he'll be fine but he's going to have to get up a tad earlier in the morning to put a move on S. green, from the films I see anyway.
Re: Skylar Green Needs the ball in his hands No offense, but the catches I've seen Early make are the ones in which there are not yards after the catch. I mean, it's not like he's catching and running with it downfield every game.
I agree it appears that the healthy Sky will be a playmaker with the ball in his hands. I imagine he will be getting the ball as he proves the ability to stay healthy and that is great for him and LSU he is surely a Reggie Bush type guy.
Re: Skylar Green Needs the ball in his hands That's how I feel about Doucet. We all saw his high school footage and I remember watching him after the catch last season. The guy is amazing. Racing is boring.
