As for Green having played under both Miles & Saban, but pulling for Saban... Saban recruited him, but perhaps just as importantly he was actually a great player under him. Under Miles he was over-weight & didn't make a very big impact (partially due to injury).

Cool.. then perhaps you should say what you mean...

And if you read what he said, he said he's pulling for both... But it's cool.. we can agree to disagree on this one... I'm not pulling for Bama... or Saban. :tigereye:

Saying that he would be happy if Saban won this Saturday knowing full well that our national title hopes would be gone is just completely ludicrous.

This is unacceptable. National championships come once in a blue moon. Pull for this slimeball some other year when we're already out of the chase. Not that it would make it much better, but geez what are you thinking young man?

Les Miles instructed Green to eat cheeseburgers and donuts all day long. Maybe I am missing something here.

Me too, in fact, I was wondering if the people who feel differently played ball.

Then he needs to make up his mind. If Bama defeats LSU Saturday I can guarantee you the Tigers will not make it to the NC game.

EVER is an absolute. Be very wary of absolutes. According to you, if an LSU alumni has a son playing for Ole Miss he should root against his son. Sorry, but I just don't see it.

No, my point is just that he is going to remember Saban more fondly because he had a bigger impact on the team under him.

Xavier Carter is probably the same way.

To me he is choosing Saban over many more things than LSU. This state that is crazy about LSU and it's players. His teammates who played through the pain like he did. There is so much more to a football team than a head coach. I don't hate Skyler at all but come on he just chose Bama over LOUISIANA. LSU is not a team it's a nation. HAHA!
