Perhaps a bit premature to say this, but should we start predicting a short list of coaching candidates that might replace Smoke should he leave for OU?

 

If LSU can land a coach from one of the big boys, i say steal robicheaux from ULL... he has fire and does alot with crap players.. kinda like miles..

 

I said that a few weeks ago, and someone jumped all over me--said Robichaux wasn't worth squat....Nice to see there are other fans out there that share my thought process. :thumb:

that's exactly it. smoke letting his bud bow out gracefully if true.

 

I was on your side in that debate (if that is what we can call it):thumb:, but some FAN was jumping our case about it and he will be all of loco when he sees that he is pro ULL.

 

I always though Robichaux has done a great job, but he isn't ready for the job at lsu.

 

fwiw, this post speculates the announcement will be made Mon. or Tues, and it will be the Hawaii coach (ex OSU player heh).
