Nice! I think even TC will approve.
I do! Take notes Tig, that's a real turtle!!! Was watching a show the other night with my bf on animals that have the strongest bite, and the Alligator Snapping Turtle beat out a Great White Shark, a Hiena (spelling?) a Tiger and a Bear I think......was pretty cool. That turtle would totally bite your damn arm off.
Oh I didn't know you were around, azzhole.
152 of these:
and 2 nice snapping turtles. One was 8 lbs and the other was 11. Though these can get to 30 + lbs, you just don't see it around here. Coonasses lock the brakes and pick 'em up way before they reach that wt.
Dude, are those box turtles?
Edit: never mind, I see they are painted
We call them red-necks. Many call them "red-eared" and "sliders". Well, I hear people say "sliders" when talking about turtlles but not sure if it's those they're referencing or not.
I went back today and set 4 nets in the pond we'd caught the 152 and 2 snappers. I'm trying a different bait in a couple of traps. Something easier to come by and cheap so I doubt it'll work- would be too easy.
I think I can smell those pictures......they look like they stink.
128 today but no snappers.
What do you do with the 128?
I kept the 15 biggest cause some people have been asking for some. The others were dispatched one-by-one.
