idiot student section. why am I not surprised? And to think that next year their fans sit right next to me. I can't wait to return the favor.
I was at the game and sat approximately 10 feet from the band. and the only thing I saw was countless bottles thrown in the direction of our band from the upper decks, but that wasn't from Ole Miss's students, because the student section was on the opposite end and there is no way they could have reached. All in all, Ole Miss fans weren't TOO bad, especially the older ones. A lot of them told me "good luck" or "win the title", etc... as we left.

Next time, you know... lol... I was kinda out of it from lack of sleep, so I didn't really notice anything.
Yea me too here. Before last night, which was an amazing night of sleep, I hadn't gone to sleep since 3 pm on Friday....couple of Red Bulls adn 3 coffees with 6 packs of sugar kept me up :lol:
Well, you were still able to point out my gargantuan frame out of the lineup, though. Agree on the treatment, though. They weren't as bad to us as I expected. Had a few conversations with a couple of Ole Miss fans that were pretty level headed. The impression that I get is that they weren't ever really sold on Orgeron and this season has only intensified it. Good trip.
During halftime our band performed. After finishing,they walked behind end zone in front of the Ole Miss student section to get back to the stands. Their students started throwing ice, cups, and a couple of bottles at our band. (not from the upper decks, but from the lower section) Their security did nothing about it. This went on for a while. Eventually one of the Louisiana State Troopers that escorts our band climbed the fence and went into their student section. Suddenly Ole Miss security and law enforcement came out of the woodworks to join in and help. Pretty pathetic display by Ole Piss.
Yes. I did see this. For whatever reason, I thought that happened during the game... Oh wait, they did the same thing when Steltz got an INT in the endzone. :dis: but they are just auditioning to Orgeron to be a QB. They know in the redzone it's anybody's game as to who he will put in.
