I think you would be completely invisible to the most conservative of them. You would be a nightmare for the wannabe playboys among them.
Those groups don't surprise me very much, especially the Persians. Many are quite liberal, it's the mullahs and the "government" that's so strict. Kurds are also very open. I was amazed to see the women walking around by themselves or small groups. They all wore makeup that made them look like Cleopatra. The strictest areas were Shia in Iraq. But it also depends where they were, rural areas were much more strict than populated centers. Educated men and women were very sociable. Afghanistan is a totally different animal, except in the north. The women would get their ass kicked for even looking at us. But they're all a bunch of fucking hypocrites.
I just don't get this whole ISIS talk at all. Why exactly are we scared of them? They are nothing. No military no money no nada. Just a small group of thugs running around a country that I give 2 chits about. Is anyone with sanity running this country at any level?
