1. he should put some of these stories in his act....
the clean version of the stories of course.

id pay to see how well that would go over.

  2. I tried to think of some "clean" versions but in my head they all sounded like Andrew Dice Clay. "Hey, Bitch! Come over here and make Fat Albert get fatter!"
  3. Not guilty by reason of Ghost Dad.
  4. or Leonard Part 6

which has turned into Rape Victim Part 17
  5. Exactly what I told my mom- who initially wanted to think Cos was innocent. She also thinks OJ was innocent so take that fwiw.

The fact that he drugged these women is what makes it even harder for me to understand. Seems he could've gotten all the tail he wanted with his celebrity status. I think it really adds something to his state of mind. Maybe just getting whatever he wanted (in terms of the taco) or possibly modest and shy to unclothe in front of a conscious woman, something along those lines. There's also a strong likelihood he was molested as a kid.

shane, here's a quote from Izzy's link that pretty much explains what you're asking.

  6. Rape is not a sex act. It is assault with an unusual weapon.

Sure, Cosby's celebrity status provided him all the willing groupies he wanted. But rape is a power trip, they get off on control and dominance.
  7. The weapon isn't always attached to the perpetrator. Foreign objects are sometimes used.

Yep. He might well have been impotent in his own marriage. Being able to completely control these women while publicly maintaining his wholesome image may have been what got him off.
  8. i never once believed rape has nothing to do with sex (or the reason). and i never will.
  9. Of course it has something to with sex--sexual humiliation. A woman once asked me "Why do men rape?". I pointed out that most men do not rape and that I never understood what motivated the ones that do. I mean, I don't even like passive women, much less one that is crying, resisting, and doesn't want to be there. What a boner killer.

Rape may have sexual connotations, but the act is an assault, not making whoopee.
