You get a standing ovation from me. Who cares if a bunch of people kneel. Especially when they are about to bash each other’s brains in. It’s like the Romans being pissed that the Gladiators had the audacity to boo Caesar. Who gives a shit they are all gonna die.
Social justice warriors make all sorts of entertainment events unbearable and unpleasant with their constant in-your-face activism. Private citizens in their homes choosing not to watch a football game isn't exactly activism. Now if I paid for a commercial calling out those kneeling twats, you'd have a point. You want to watch...cool Others don't for their own reasons....that's cool too. And @LaSalle, I'm surprised at you, bro. You want to sit in your home and smoke dope without others telling you what to do but it's not okay for people to feel a certain sort of way about how they view patriotism? We each have things that we are passionate about. Mutual respect about those choices is what's important, not to be viewed through a political lens. Fuck pink. Fuck the NFL. And fuck the players who are spoiled, rich, entitled assholes.
I think it’s just as much anyone’s right to be mad about players kneeling as it is their right to kneel. I just don’t get why it makes people who aren’t members of the military so mad. Most of these players donate their money and time to charities and do a lot for communities in this country. And who do we blame? We should blame ourselves for putting athletes, and actors, and reality television stars on the pedestals we put them on. It’s a wedge issue anyway to me and unimportant in the grand scale of things.
