I love your optimism. Do you get very far with that? The Tigers are 7-0 going into their biggest game of the year and you start off talking doom and gloom. Why?
What we received last night was the final report card for the QB's going into the most critical and difficult part of the schedule. The offense operates in two completely different modes when each of these QB's enters the game. The statistics prove who should start this weekend. The entire coaching staff cannot be blind to that and I have faith that they will make the right decision. Besides, Lee knows how to win at Auburn ...
Yeah, 9 TDs to 1 is glaring. JLee should definitely be starting now, or at least getting a majority of snaps. Agree with Red's comments about the hot hand! You have to be flexible in your gameplan and stick with the person who is clearly producing!
It is very hard to guess that Les is going to start J. Lee vs Auburn. First thing he said at the end of the game is that our passing must get better. Les needs to look at series started by JJ and series started by J. Lee. It is amazing the % of scores J. Lee takes us on since getting on the field. JJ is a punt or TO ready to happen. Les it's time !! Maybe Les says on Wed. - To me it's not that big of a deal who starts at QB for this game but I think Jaret has done what he needed to do to earn the right to start this game. - I hope that turns into 85% Lee vs 15% JJ. we shall see My gut tells me JJ will start but you can only hope.
no way auburn puts up 17 on us before Lee gets in the game. Auburn has yet to play a defense as good as ours and we sure as hell aren't gonna let Cam Newton run straight up the middle on us like he did on R-Kansas. He's not a great passer (i would still take him over jefferson) but if we limit his running we win.
He's not stupid . . . but he's stubborn. But Geez, at this point every Jefferson drive is a wasted opportunity. We simply can't do that against Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Arkansas.
Last night should have been a glorified practice session for Lee and the WR's at least for the first 3 quarters. He should have thrown the ball 30-40 times to really work on timing and to get the passing game in gear for the 2nd half of the season. Huge opportunity wasted by the offensive coaching staff. I'm not sure what JJ has pictures of Les doing, but it must be big.
