So why make a sarcastic comment regarding a game you've never played? All I was doing was saying that it is "possible" for a scenerio like the one i described and simulated to occur.

What? They have the coaches poll and the media poll (which is used as the Harris or whatever it is poll). These polls have nothing to do with any ESPN/SI bias. The game doesn't magically put USC at #1 every year.

Sure they have "bowl projections" in the game, but what does that mean? nothing. I'm saying the poll structure closely resembles what happens in real life and I just though I would bring up that possibility.

look in the mirror. you felt the urge to shoot down a legitimate point/scenerio by degrading a video game

It'll be a long ride home- but the team will be better for it.

And tenebrism: you're bashing a guy for telling a story and what he did in a video game. You bashed him with inaccurate data, he responded. And you called him a jackass- because you don't game anymore. Whose fault is that?

Florida made a BCS bowl (the Orange Bowl against ACC Champ Maryland, which was Spurrier's last game) in 2001, the year LSU won the SEC and played Illinois in the Sugar Bowl.

I believe they're the only SEC team to receive an at-large bid in the 8 years of the BCS. The at-large teams tend to come from the Pac 10 or the Big 10, conferences with large media markets and without championship games. Go figure.

Also, I'm not so sure an 11-1 LSU can get into the Nat'l Championship Game without winning the SEC. Didn't they put a conference champ rule after Nebraska made the title game in 2001, despite not even winning it's own division?

Don't think they actually put that rule in until another Big 12 team played in the '04 Sugar Bowl after losing their conference championship game.
