1. Chris Polk played a great game when we played UW in Washington. The Pac-10/12 always plays us real close with the exception of Arizona. How about Oregon State coming down to death valley and losing because their later groza award winning kicker missed 5 fg's.
  2. on UW's Scout.com forum, they had 36 predictions for the game in their Pick'em competition
--only 3 of the 36 predict that UW wins
--the average of their 36 predictions is that LSU wins by 16 points
--17 of the 36 (47%) think that UW keeps within 14 or less (e.g. that LSU wins by 14 or less)

  3. GDF, I think the best the Huskies can hope for is that the front gets through here about mid-day Saturday. If that happens, then the "heat index" reading would likely be between 85-90 at game time. On the other hand, if it gets through a couple hours into the game, then the "heat index" around game time would likely be between 100-107 at kickoff.

But that number doesn't really measure how it feels. I had to do some running around for work today and I was sweating like a fat man wearing slacks and a long-sleeve button down shirt.

And I just heard a weather forecast as I'm sitting here ignoring work. Tomorrow's going to be about the same as today. I'd imagine UW is getting here tonight or early in the morning and will have a walk through in Death Valley tomorrow. That nasty, suffocating bayou heat will probably get into their heads during the walkthrough even if the weather Saturday cooperates for them.
  4. That was Locker, who is a special talent. Dude gave us hell.

Also, Az St took us to the wire in '05, but that was after the Katrina fiasco. Sam Keller passed for 800yds it seemed like.
  5. Also, I think "satanic heat" is a great term, and I intend to use it. :D
  6. Remember Miles calling a TO after the INT?
  7. I thought that was against Tennessee in week 2?
  8. Nah, that was the 21 point blow job.

I seem to remember it being Az St. I could be wrong.
  9. Im thinking 41 10s with Mett having 200 yards and 3 TDs with one being to Shepard. Then Blue and Kenny grinding it out the rest of the time on offense. I think with Chris Polk being out that they will be forced to throw alot more and our D Line will have a field day(especially Mingo with his speed) I could be wrong I'm not very familiar with Washington's offense. The only televised LSU game ive missed in the past 5 years was the Washington.
  10. Locker did have a good game against us, but Polk did as well, he carried the ball 21 times for 90 yards and also added 2 receptions for 34 yards. But yeah there you go also, the Arizona State game, another game a team from the Pac played us really well.
