it's not going anywhere anytime soon. miles made it sound that way at his presser today.

talked about advantage of the coaches seeing what set the defense was in and taking the pressure off of JJ when it came to his check downs.

Get away from the check with me, huddle up and play ball. Hit them in the mouth and run your play action. Where's the bubble screen with you wide out's? We don't have to put 5 wide to be succesful, isn't happening. Build confidence and throw down feild later just stop being so damn scared and predictable.....

    Play ball boys! :geaux:

Jimbeaux must have patented that play.

I agree it is alot of other things but we need to give this young QB some time, hes still young and need to learn how to pocket pass. JJ if you are reading this look at Breeze and Manning, when they go back to the sidelines they are studying defenses, to be a good quarterback you have to be able to recognize defenses and audible off them Breeze and Manning both are masters at the Hard Count. Big Brother Manning Lol:lsup:

We need to put asphalt on the field instead of grass, park a couple of Buicks and Chevys and Caddies along the sidelines and just tell the guys to go out and have some damm fun!:geaux:

Agree and against Bama it's REALLY going to be ineffective if not changed. McClain is an on-the-field coach and changes the defense.

I think this is the make or break game for us and will go a long way in determining how we finish the second half of the season.

The Dude has summarized our most glaring problems. It will be interesting to see what progress, if any, was made during the two week break in addressing/correcting them.

    TheDude I'm calmer than you.

I doubt we will see a 180 this weekend, but a ray or two of hope would be nice. The offense believes in JJ and is behind him, but the feel I get is that they don't believe in themselves. I have only spoken to a couple of players, but that is the general vibe. A little success this weekend could go a long way.

I know people are spouting stats and weaknesses of Auburn but they aint gonna roll over and play dead. Just one or two improvements, and the rest might start to roll in the right direction.

    Is he still playing?

I thought he was hurt a couple of weeks ago and out for a while. I could be wrong though, I haven't watched any Bama games this year...just bits and pieces.
