Everyone is so positive that Peterson is leaving. I'm not so sure, considering there could be an NFL lockout. Will he want to risk the loss of football indefinitely by declaring early? I think he'll be watching those negotiations very carefully.

i agree on PP i see his decision as a last minute one, i think he wants to go but w/ the labor issues and possible lockout I am not so sure it happens. And i dont think it is just PP, but alot of other top notch players as well.

There is no way Peterson is coming back, and if he did he would be foolish in my opinion.
He will be a top 10 pick and make millions......
I dont not see how staying an extra year will increase his draft position.

I love the guy, but if I had the opportunity to make Millions, see ya when I see ya....

He's not making a dime with a lockout.

I've been out of it lately, what is this lockout you speak of? I assume it has to do with the players being unhappy with the possibility of an 18 game schedule next year.

The current NFL collective bargaining agreement is up in March, and the owners don't want the players to receive as much revenue as they do under the current CBA.

    Here's a good breakdown:

What about Travis Dickson? I'm not even sure what position they like him at (they worked him out at TE and FB). I haven't heard anything on this kid in a while.

    Bhelm?

:geaux: Although I know he didn't play this season (redshirt), I'm anxious to see if Ego Ferguson will have an impact on the DL next season. Would be nice if he could come in and perform like Sam Montgomery did as an RSF before he got hurt. :LSU231:
