Believe me when I tell you, he still worships at the alter of LM. Much like he accused Miles' critics of wanting LSU to lose so that they would have more ammunition to get rid of him, he's going to do the same thing with whoever the new coach is. Mark my words, he's just biding his time until O or whoever loses their first game so he can say 'I told you so'.
No matter how good or bad O does, it doesn't excuse Miles ineptitude on offense nor his refusal to make necessary changes.
I'm not preaching to anyone just saying he doesn't have a leg to stand on no matter when he comes back or what he says. He might as well come back now, take his medicine and learn something about football.
