So, why did Tyrus redshirt?

    Not sure why anyone is worried about Tyrus' weight. We've had 2 players from LSU literally eat their way out of the NBA, Stanley Roberts & John Williams. Tyrus will be fine.

    We also produced Cecil Collins who is a robber...

    You can't say that what 1 athlete does will speak for everyone of our school at the next level

    Easy. Thomas weighed about 210 pounds last year and was getting pushed around in the paint very badly. He had never been properly conditioned and fed. After a year in the weight room and eating at the training table he added weight, height, strength, and jumping ability.

    210 my arse. He showed up at LSU weighing about 190. He was listed at 215 on this years roster. If he can play at around 235-240 in the NBA and keep his hops, he will have a monster NBA career.

    I don't know about that. At 240, his jumping ability is sure to take a hit. That's one of his biggest assets. I think he'll be fine at around 220 at the next level.
