She showed me before the Tenn. game at Tiger Park.....it's RAW! Pitchers get caloused then it's usually tough enough to not offer much irritation but hers is WAY beyond that. Literally looked like lil pieces of flesh gouged out.
Hands aren't "Part of the bat" in softball. (At least HS regs) If a batter swings at a strike, in the stike zone, and it hits her......it's a strike. Provided her hand was in the strike zone- fairly certain that's how it is- I thought it hit her bat but we'll take it.
Yep. I'm unimpressed with the umps in this game. I've seen at least 3 bad calls. (of course, 2 have been in our favor)
Surprised they didn't ask for an appeal- at least I didn't see them ask. The plate ump was probably at a bad angle prolly couldn't see that from his angle and the base ump may have been too far to be certain. We'll consider it a "Pay-back" call.
Hofer looking good. Thought it was funny earlier when they said ET has a little Paris Hilton in her. :shock: She kind of looks like her as well.
Surely she'll drag. It surprises me how many "Softball" people/coaches don't know the difference between a "Drag" and a "Slap".
It may be a game of endurance. I hope their pitcher tires soon. We can't get a lick off of her. Hofer hasn't pitched since Thursday so she will last.
Pitch count is definitely like size....It does matter. :grin: I'm really worried right now! I surely hope we get the first batter- that first out, in these situations, is so important and so hard to get. :sob:
