Solar Eclipse,.. August 21st

    Saw it in Sweetwater, Tn. A few clouds threatened early but it was blue skies for the eclipse. When totality occurred a few stars came out, insects started making night sounds, birds landed. The temperature had dropped 20+ degrees. We stared at the "diamond ring" with bare eyes with no problem. Amazing. Hope to see it in 2024 again.

    You will be blind in 2024. There is no pain or immediate effect from staring at the corona but irreparable damage to the eyes is done nevertheless. Can i call you Stevie Wonder

    Yeah... First thing that we noticed was that we were being eaten alive by mosquitoes.
