    Exactly!!! Auburn should do exactly what USC did...Simply proclaim themselves National Champions, go down to Wal-Mart buy a banner, have Suzy Homemaker sew National Champions on it and hang the damn thing.

    Don't Auburn fans mock Alabama fans for doing that...claiming NC's that obviously they didn't win?

    In the modern era, I don't mock anybody for claiming a National Championship when they went undefeated (which we haven't done quite yet).

    The only ones I mock, are the people who claim national championships with 1 or 2 losses that season.

    On ESPN Radio this morning, Sean Salisbury asked Bill Curry who he thought would win the game between his (Salisbury's) alma mater and OU. Curry responded that the best team wasn't even playing in the game and then proceeded to talk about how any team that blows through the SEC like Auburn did deserves to be playing for the Championship. He said he didn't see much of SC this year, but what he did see did not look like a dominant team. You go Bill! :thumb:
