The pirates come in small boats. All you have to do is repel boarders. Four grenade launchers and four 50 cal machine guns mounted around the ship with 8 men to man them will be able to keep a small boat from pulling up and climbing aboard. When they get within two hundred yards start blasting. 8 marines could defend a liner with these wepons and night vision goggles.
