If Manieri did (according to you) "the right thing", how many people would smile and accept another struggling team next year? I'll tell you: None. It's his ass on the line and he's got to make the tough decisions. Sucks for the players involved, but life is not always a bowl of cherries. And, it is OK to discriminate against Transvestites, because they are unacceptably weird.
That is the bottom line and PM did it in a smart way. Kinda weird how they built up to be many players could get cut and it happens to be the 1st 3 players he meet with that got cut. Winning is everything and PM has to be able to do his job.
im just not one of those who think winning is everything. its great, and fun, but you can leave a lot of collateral damage. leave collateral damage to the real world---universities have higher standards (insert laughter).
