Some Gumps are OK, I guess

I have four students that are really hard core Bama fans. I have been giving them hell, to a point I probably could have been disciplined. As if I cared.

Anyway, the number one Gump Guy came in today, waved his hat in my face, and gave me this for "consolation." I thought that was pretty cool. Of course he got the candy bar at Wally.

Figures!

 

There are a few Bama fans that are ok. I still have a number of friends in Birmingham but we keep the talk to a minimum during football season, lol.

 

Given the right amount of inbreeding and trailerpark incubation, they all show their true colors.

 

I find this comment some what amusing. You must not get out much in this great country of ours. There is not much different about people any where in this country. You have them from all walks of life, different financial statuses, etc. They talk a little different but people are people where ever.

 

I think it was just a joke

 

I think he should get a gold star for trying.

 

For the most part they're decent folks. I have a couple of gumps I pledged with and the only mention they made of Saturday night was to say how the attrition has caught up to us and that Mett should not have been in a position to take those late sacks. They also know I would not have been as forgiving if the outcome were different.

 

None of you have met my step-brother-in-law. He could be a porno star..he is such a prick. He probably can't talk about religion without bringing up Bama. His home is totally Bama stuff. He brags about being a Bama grad. He fails to mention it was all on line. His "great" degree from Bama allowed him to be a "highly" paid police officer. But the other 13% of Bama fans are ok.

 

I fart in their general direction.

 

We will see how I feel after this weekend. I have to fly back today for a funeral and do not look forward to seeing my Bama friends this trip.
