Those guys keep talking about last year this, last year that. Last year was a very young team that won 9 games in the SEC. This year, most of that team returns plus a pretty dang good DC to replace the one(s) we lost and an offensive minded head coach. This year isn't going to be like last year at all. The only thing you can look at from last year is talent levels - and there was plenty of that.

Most of the ASU fans were pretty intelligent and realized that it's going to be a tough game for them to win, just as it will for us.

I watched the 2003 UGA-LSU game last night and there were a lot of contributing players in that game who are going to be playing against ASU.

If you'll remember the UGA game, it was an embaressment. I thought you were trying to insinuate that the talent was not that impressive.

well i like the fact they've lost the qb who shattered elway's Pac-10 career TD record and threw for over 10,000 yards. Andrew Walter is a bit much to replace.

although his backup in the sun bowl?? was quite impressive and the mvp of the game, I expect a big dropoff once the season plays out.

After watching that game again as well, I give a lot more credit to the UGA D that game.

It was a insane defensive game.

I had forgotten how much our offense was beaten down for most of the time.

The negative responses you've received were probably due to your comment, that USC would be medicore in the Big 10 & 12. USC dominated the the 2003 Big 10 Champion Michigan and we all saw what they did to OU. They also proved they can dominate in a hostile SEC environment by pitching a shutout of AU. Some AU fans thought that beating was soo bad that it just took the heart out of that team, which many picked to win the NC.
