Somebody slap Billy Packer

1) Does anyone lose when Bill Raf and Verne Lundquist announce a game?

2) I don't know anyone, not one single person, who enjoys Fudgie Packer's commentary. (Nor do I know any fans of Joe Morgan or Tim McCarver, different discussion). Why does CBS keep a color guy on the most marquee games that infuriates everybody?

 

I'm a HUGE Joe Morgan fan. It's that dolt John Miller that I can't stand.

 

I just turn the sound down so I don't have to hear him...

That's a pet peeve of mine. I HAVE to have the sound on. Doesn't matter how annoying the announcer is (Even Vitale). It's just one of my things...OCD when it comes to that.

 

I guess when you lose EVERYTHING bothers you. Big deal, the guy recalled an old game. I guess he figured the current game wasn't worth commenting on.

 

So, since you think that getting someone's nickname wrong constantly is no big deal, it only fitting that we continue to call you Crappy. And I take it you won't mind.

 

Go right ahead. I wasn't commenting about the nickname, I was commenting about just looking for anyone to vent on because the Tigers played a bad game.

The little dilettante has agreed to be called by his more appropriate forum name of Crappy.
