yea but it was a 26 yarder....i'm guessing none of those misses were from that close. you have to factor in the distance of the missed fg's too

While I agree with this, I still do not feel comfortable with our kicking game. I was nervous whole time til it went through.

Well the other thing to factor in, the worst case was a 2nd OT had he missed.

two and three years ago people were ready to crown jimbo as the best OC in the game...

only one thing has changed at LSU since then... same qb, some of the same rb's even same receivers...

if you want to blame someone for the offensive struggles, how can you blame him? he's the same coach that was calling reverses for td's in the nat'l championship game and finding ways to pick apart a defense with a mediocre qb...

The funny thing is that I was probably the only one criticizing him back then.
I didn't like it because our offense always seemed to shut down or struggle
    in the second half.
I wanted us to blow everyone out like UF and OU did.
I would disagree with same QB and WR's because it aint so from 2003.
I don't know, ever since the Oregon State game, JR, for some reason the
offense seems to struggle quite a bit with JR at the helm.
Saban's last year and I referring to the big games this year but I guess you
    could include last nite.
I didn't have the benefit of seeing the game btw but it was Ole Miss so I was
less interested than playing a better opponent.

Jimbo and Nick argued a lot, too. Probably any top coordinator is going to bump heads with his head coach from time to time. Most successful coaches have thick skins.

I wasn't too worried about a 2nd overtime as I somehow felt that the Tigers would still in control, with the defense having settled down, and the offense finally waking up.

If we have any turn over in the coaching staff, Peveto the special teams coach would be at the top of my list.

I don't know about the first one but the second one is... well not true. of course he isn't God. BUT you seem to touch on something I noticed even last week. he is sorely missed, a key player in this defense.
