I say thats total BS. It amazes me some of the rumors that get started. Davis didn't like playing football all that much in HS becasue of the hitting involved. I heard an interview where he said basketball became his sport of choice because football was such a physical game... He is learning sec basketball ain't no cakewalk.
No way this is true. Hell he shows why he is called Big Baby every basketball game just from getting bumped around. No way he could handle college football. Hell in the game today he barely got nicked and goes flopping on the floor like Tyson caught him clean on the jaw. I like the guy for his hustle, but just judging his history of wussy falls in B Ball, I'm pretty sure he would run like a girl from any linebacker in the SEC.
FYI last season they had the Broncos, Patrioits, Packers, and Panthers (scouts) come out and watch him play. I cant remember who actually went and talked to him, but they told him that his was 90% of where he was going to be in basketball and that he was only 40% of where he could be if he played football. They were amazed at how he well he could move and how quick he is. But I think his mind is on basketball.
Have you ever watched a game of basketball? All players fall... It's called ACTING... They fall to try and get the foul....
LOL, but some of his crap is embarassing. And no, not all players do it. In fact, few do it as often as him.
Vlade Divac was the KING of the flop. A point guard would hit him, and he would go sliding on his back across the court. He got the calls though.
