What an embarrassment that this man is cheering for LSU. I know there are racists all over the country and the world, but I am embarrassed and ashamed to be Southern when I hear this kind of bull####. He doesn't mind those nigg#### when they play for LSU and do something good, now does he? Dumb ass!
I guess I have been around long enough to accept people the way they are. Avoid who I can, ignore the rest. You're not going to change them, and usually are not worth the effort anyway.
Maybe you could have asked him how he felt about the play of the White guys on the team who play. The interior offensive linemen who've been doing such a bang up job blocking this year. They're White. Or the one amazing 8 yard reception Dickson had - it was awesome! Or Cutrera's 4 tackles coming off the bench. Or the stellar 37 yard punting average and field goal of the 2 White kickers. Wait, what team did this guy come to watch??? You think maybe he didn't know that only 4 guys out of 22 starters were White guys??? I believe maybe he thought he was in Lavell Edwards Stadium, not Death Valley. That must be it. :hihi:
I've been all over this campus and watching Tiger football for 36 years and I haven't heard race-based complaints since Carol Otis Trimble was quarterback in 1975. Herb Tyler basically earned everybody's respect and Rohan Davy became everybody's hero. Race hasn't been an issue in a very long time. There are more people upset with Jefferson because he does not smoke the same cigarette as me. I cain't get no satisfaction.
For what it's worth, this is the last post on this issue. But it's got nothing to do with being Southern, nor should you be ashamed to be Southern. It's stupidity no matter what part of the country you're from. And I assure you, coming from a Southerner living in the NE, it goes both ways. Nothing follows.

Racism comes in all forms and it happens everywhere not just the deep South. I was born & raised in Louisiana, lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 21 years, spent 3 years in England in the Air Force, and now live in Arizona and you find racists everywhere both black & white. It's not a class of people like so called red necks. That is media bull crap. According to the media only whites are racist. Think so? Try walking through a black or hispanic neighborhood some night. Even in so called sophisticated liberal London I've heard black people called Wogs. You can guess what that is the equivalent of right? It's best you didn't say anything to the jerk.
When I was in undergrad I noticed a lot of blatant racism. One guy even went as far as posting racial slurs and demining photographs on our fraternity web site. It made us all look bad for his individual actions. It’s just takes that one bad apple to ruin it for the whole fan base. I don’t know what gave guy such a big head, but I sure hope he has learned some tolerance later in life.
