the guy was exactly right IMO except for the racist comment...I met as many if not more "rednecks" when I lived up in DC, as I do here. Maybe Gump has it right when he says "stupid is as stupid does." For every stupid prejudiced white guy you can show me, I'll show you a prejudiced African-American. Somewhere, we have to become friends or this country will eventually fall. Russian officials (Kru) told us years ago that they would destroy us from within. Sure would hate to see that come true.
You bunch of crackers had better wake up and look around at what this country is becoming. Honkee is getting tired of Uncle Sam taking and "spreading the wealth". If the roles were reversed.. BROTHA would not go onto a website and complain about another BROTHA making a racial comment. They would laugh
Sad thing is probably half the stadium thinks the same way. I quit going to all the games because of how many people there were jus tlike that guy. It's just how a lot of folks are around here.
It is soooooo stupid to determine how effective a LSU QB is based on skin color, they all look purple and gold to me! With that being said, I do find that there is a segment of LSU fans that choose a QB by race. LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU!
Am I reading you right? The guy says "probably half the stadium thinks the same way [about how the QB is a n-------]," and your response is "luckily?" And yeah, I have seen Republicans with the whole attitude that black people are ruining our country... and you don't think that is absurd to think? As for your theory that if the roles were reversed, that black people wouldn't complain about racism as much as us white people.... whaaaa? That's pretty out there. You do realize that black people are just as human/good as us white people, right?
I've seen plenty examples of racism, but I can't remember anybody call any player in any sport a n------, expect for one person who called Aaron Brooks of the Saints a n------ and he even went on about how black people shouldn't be QBs for his team. And yeah, that was so astonishing that I was speechless. But yeah, back in the day, that was prevalent... Jackie Robinson... Bear Bryant breaking the color barrier in the SEC by allowing black guys to play for his team after he got whooped by USC and their black guys... etc.
Did you forget that Marge Schott referred to Barry Larkin that way? He was playing for her team at the time. Bear Bryant once said "We won't be the first team in the SEC to intergrate, but by God we won't be the last.". Guess who was?
