This was the complete performance everyone was waiting for. Coach Miles is teaching this team what it means to win. The top 25 rankings are BS right now, but we beat a top 25 team. :miles: Oh, and Florida has only seen a fraction of the playbook. Tactics...

    One complaint...
"We were too far to kick a field goal so we just sat on the ball."

    I'm calling BS.

How come I knew a thread like this would exist, and by who I would expect to be the poster.

actually, i think this win was more like the UGA game in '03

    • pretty much had the lead the whole game.
    • UGA scores late on a defensive breakdown.
    • we get a big return on the ensuing kickoff to put us in position.
    • we get a td on a long play that no one saw coming.
    • defense comes away with a pick along the sideline to seal the game.
    • ESPN people say we didn't deserve to win.
    • TC bitches that we didn't win by triple digits

:geaux: Agreed. Had that twinkle in his eye again and looked like that fire in his belly was back. I believe he's seeing this team come together and is excited about it.:thumb: :LSU231:

You're funny. And maybe you're right. Only the 2003 version of the Tigers had an excellent running attack. And the blitzing defense was a QB's worst nightmare. Neither of those qualities is true of this year's squad.

FYI, our D is not built around the blitz. It is assignment D, and as you saw last night, when they played their assignments, there was no need for the blitz. Look how many 3 in outs we had.

I guess scott and our team stepping up running for close to 200 yrds is a weak rushing attack...

I hope a Bama fan takes a Chit on your door step!

Florida should be a decent game. Tiger adrenaline will be running high at home, and that counts for a lot in amateur athletics.

Still, I don't see how the LSU offense is gonna score vs. the Gator D. LSU fans must hope Tebow has double vision and offers up several turnovers.

I like the Tigers, but they're not championship caliber. If they surprise the world, dominate the Gators, and win by 14 or more, then TC will be on the bandwagon. Hell, if they just win by a point I'll put up a positive post that most of you sanguine fans will breathe heavily over.

Till then, I reserve my right to remain a skeptic.

Sure do like them Saints, though! Saintslogo

Yeah, nice cop-out there, bud. You know that ain't gonna happen. But that's ok, we don't want you anywhere near our bandwagon unless it's directly under the wheel as it barrels downhill towards Atlanta.
I was drawing the exact same comparisons last night.

He was comparing the games, not the teams, genius. The similarities b/w the 2 games are undeniable.

The wagon is already full. You're either a Tiger fan full time or you're just a tag along. You're a tag along downer. Take your ball to some other playground.
