Well I am the same age as this guy. So what the hell. I have officially decided to try to make it as a walk-on for LSU. Look for me, I should be the one carrying the clipboard or maybe I can be the "backup" guy. You know the one in charge of telling all the players to stay behind the line so we don't get penalized.
I'll see you on the practice field. I'm going to walk on as the backup to the backup kicker. Maybe I can be the guy in charge of setting up those nets the kickers practice kicking into on the sideline before they try a field goal.
I went to a Juco my first 2 years of college. One of the players on the football teams father walked on the football team my 2nd year. He was 50+. Think he lasted about 3 days......the heat was hard on him. He had no intentions of playing, He just wanted to see how he could hold up against the other kids. Oh, and yes he had eligibility left....he had never been to college. he did go on and get his associates degree from the juco.
Do you think they will allow walkers on the field? Just wanted to know if I should tell my grandpa about this.
