Dylan Roofs friend, that helped lead the FBI to find Roof, is charged with concealing details if the shootings and making false statements. http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/18/us/ch...sts-dylann-roof-friend-joseph-meek/index.html I don't know what the details are but this can be a little alarming. When is one supposed to call the cops or just call bullshit on someones exaggerations or threats?
It's a good question and I don't think there are perfect answers. However, if you conceal details regarding a crime, or make false statements, then screw you, you deserve to be arrested.
How would he have any idea that Roof was really going to do it. People say crazy shit all the time when they are drunk and rarely actually carry it out when they sober up.
I am wondering this is the Feds coming down (directive) hard because of the nature of the crime or if there was some type of organization to the shooting that Roof's friend was apart of. Hell, he did help the FBI find him.
